Spruce Hat and Pinwheel Mitts

I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with Loop on two new designs! Loop are a real treat to work with! I’m always blown away by their styling and photography.

Spruce Hat

For Spruce Hat I revisited the Conifer/Spruce pattern that I previously used on a baby and adult cardigan. It was lots of fun knitting this motif again and I think it works perfectly as a cheerful hat design.

Spruce Hat is available in three sizes, so it’s perfect for the whole family!

I just adore these photos by Kristin Perers and styled by Loop – they capture the joy of colourwork and lovely yarn!

Spruce Hat is knit with BC Garn Semilla, a lovely organic wool available at Loop, where you can also get printed copies of the pattern.

Pinwheel Mitts

The pretty and cosy Pinwheel Mitts are inspired by the traditional pinwheel patterns often found on antique quilt.

The dream team of Kristen Perers and Susan at Loop are again behind these gorgeous photos. You can see more on the pattern page!

Pinwheel Mitts are knit with Isager Highland Wool, 100% lambswool available at Loop, where you can also get printed copies of the pattern. Loop are running a competition to win the yarn and pattern on their blog or Instagram.
